The Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) are two systems. These provide frameworks for qualifications in different parts of the United Kingdom. However, the difference between RQF and SCQF is their location.
RQF accredits qualifications in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Whereas the SCQF is specific to Scotland. Both frameworks aim to enhance the understanding and recognition of qualifications. Let's discuss these qualifications in detail.
I find myself constantly giving advice to others who are interested in becoming an External verifier or indeed like myself have a passion for quality. The reason I feel compelled to do this is based on my own experience when starting out. This started with Internal Quality Assurance and eventually led to External Quality Assurance, across several sectors.
Internal quality assurance (IQA) Legislation guarantees that IQA procedures are consistent, safe, and fair. It is necessary to have a system to keep track of all aspects of training, learning, and assessment from when a learner begins to the time they complete.
TAQA is an acronym for Training, Assessment, and Quality Assurance qualifications. This was originally a term used by City & Guilds for their Education & Training, Assessment, and IQA suite. However, now it has become a more widely-used term to denote the Assessor and Internal Quality Assurance courses, especially the newer versions of these qualifications, which were updated in 2015. The new TAQA courses have replaced the old Assessor A1 and Verifier V1 qualifications.
Ethics are standards set for you to recognise your actions as right or wrong. It helps categorise discipline, honesty and integrity in our actions performed during the day. Acting as a guideline to influence behaviour and making the right choice, it is easier for individuals to abide by rules and act responsibly with ethics.

The new Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance Qualifications replace the older D34 and V1qualifications. They are also referred to as the IQA or IV training courses. People completing these courses will become qualified Internal Verifiers (IV’s) or Internal Quality Assurers (IQA’s).
